⊹ The Mass-Produced Object - Process 1 ⊹

Here is Lamp Design #1 fully fired to cone 7/8!! Clay body: Plainsman Polar Ice (sorry for the delay, kiln program failed so it took longer than expected).

I'm unsure about Lamp Design #1 because I find the design too busy, and I want to depart from a traditional lamp shape as the final product won't have a lamp base.

So, for part 2, I've decided to develop new shapes and patterns, since I'm now familiar with the clay 3d printing process this time around it'll be easier to get more tests and decide on the final shape Part 2.

New shapes: as of rn 12" tall 6" base (diameter).

New patterns (from same mushroom/plant):

Patterns Projected onto shapes:

Also, instead of the lamps being modular I've decided it's best to create a lamp that's interchangeable, so the top/'shade' can be chosen based on the user's taste, similar to this:

All lamp 'shades' will rest on a flat base that holds the lighting system:

The lighting options so far:

1. Easiest and most Affordable/Ecofriendly $13 :
Detachable / Rechargeable light bulb with remote:

2.  More expensive / harder to design base for (but prettiest?) $44 :
Pre-built bulb holder and incandescent light bulbs - would have to design base for base? orrr no            base?
